This terms themes are: Orange & Circus and Purple & Senses.  Come and make an orange lion mask, clown hats, mix your own orange paint, try out our smelly paint, touch, feel and listen as you create a masterpiece.   Lots of games and fun mixed in with craft and art. 

Under the SA Curriculum Standards, they believe “an environment rich in sensory experiences, young children use their curiosity to explore, discover and construct understandings. Play experiences with sand, water, mud, clay, paint, natural materials, fabrics and objects invite children to touch, feel, observe, listen, smell, discover, enjoy and learn” 

Each class provides your child with 2 structured activities which your child can take home and treasure.  The 3rd structured activity will be an ongoing project for the 8 week Term. There will also be time for free play.

Holiday Workshop at Glenelg on Monday 6th July 2009.   10am till 12pm

Crazy bugs and insects -
We will be making crazy insect crowns, whacky Splodge putty plaques, ladybug suncatchers and balancing bats and butterflies. We will be touching, feeling and smelling some nice things and some yucky things and we will be using our special smelly paint!!!

We will have games to break up the craft and a short 5 minute drink break.

Cost $15 per child.

Further to the many telephone calls we have received; we are happy to let you know we will be at Mitcham Square this school holidays making some funky things with re-cycled materials the first week and making Harry Potter themed crafts to celebrate the release of the newest Harry Potter movie during the second week.

Tuesday and Thursday 11am till 1pm and Friday same time for face painting.  Thank You to all the lovely Mitcham Square customers who come back time after time to craft with us.

We are also at Muno Para shopping Centre every day, Marden, Springbank and Northpark shopping Centres.

If you are a community Centre or OSCH and would like to book splodge for a craft workshop at your place - please contact us.   The following workshops have been very popular in the past however we are happy to accommodate any theme you may have running.   We will usually make 3 or 4 different projects in the 2 hours and will break half time with a game.  Discounts apply for organizations.
