Parties:
Minimum numbers: All parties have a minimum attendance charge for 10 children

Party Times: Party times can generally be booked for times between 9am and 4pm, at weekends. Any party in the evening will incur a slight surcharge, you will be advised of this at the time of booking.

When to book: Ideally 2-3 months notice is ideal. The earlier you book the better chance you have of securing the exact date and time you need. Bookings require a minimum of 5 days notice to make up activity boxes and allocate staff

Confirming final numbers: We will speak with you at the beginning of the week of your party to confirm final numbers attending. Final numbers need to be confirmed no later than the Thursday before your party an final or amended invoice will be issued to you based on these confirmed numbers.

Deposit: A deposit must be paid to secure any booking prior to your invites being sent to you. Final Payment is on the day or several days prior to the date. Splodge accepts cash, cheque, postal orders and internet banking transfers.

Weather issues: If temperatures affect the organisation of your party, you should plan for an alternative venue.

Safety: Please consider children being at your house and ensure pool areas are secure, electricity and tripping hazards are not a concern, glass and breakable cups and plates are not used by children.

Traveling surcharges. Party prices include a 30 minute traveling distance from our base at Flagstaff Hill. Please check with staff at the time of booking or see Surcharges below.

Public holiday bookings: Splodge is available for hire every day of the year, subject to availability, surcharges apply for public holidays ($100 extra per party)

Sick guests on the day: If any guests are sick on the day or do not turn up, they will incur a $5 charged rather than the full per head charge listed on the invoice. We will not leave craft items for them, this charge is purely to cover staff allocated to a particular number of children.

Cancellations: Once you have paid your deposit, your party is considered a confirmed booking. If you need to cancel your party, you can do so with no charge up until 4 weeks before your party date. If however you cancel your party less than 4 weeks before the party date, you will forfeit your deposit.

What we expect of you:
Pets: Please lock any pets away or leave them with a friend.

Start time: Please have your child guests arrive 15-30 minutes prior to Splodge activities starting to ensure no-one missed out on the fun.

Alcohol: Parents of the birthday child are asked to keep adults with alcohol separate from the main children’s party area.

Party Food: Please leave eating until after the entertainment or have a scheduled eating time before the fun begins, we find glue, glitter and sandwiches don’t mix well and there is of course a choking hazard if children run around with food in their mouths.

Payment: We encourage you to pay by internet transfer before the date of the party or by cheque on the day to prevent our mobile staff having to carry money around with them. If you must pay by cash, please have the correct money available for the staff as they will not be able to give out change.

Feedback: Please take time to fill in and send back our feedback form, your feedback is very important to us
Recommendation: You will receive rewards for every child from your party who books a splodge party, full details will be explained when your booking has been confirmed.

(payments with no reference may not be allocated to your account resulting in a delay of booking confirmation which in turn may result in the slot being allocated to someone else.
- Traveling Surcharge:
All parties include a 30 minute traveling time from our current base at Flagstaff Hill.
We use Google Maps to calculate any surcharge which may apply, this keeps everything nice and easy for us and you!
From Flagstaff Hill centre. - any distance over the 30 minutes will incur a 0.75c charge per KM
- Public Holiday Surcharge:
A $100 surcharge will be added to any party booked for a public holiday.
- Evening Surcharge:
A $70 surcharge will be added to any party booked to start after 6pm on a Friday or Saturday night.
Splodge Children’s Parties will not be allowed to finish any later than 8pm
- Last minute booking Surcharge:
A $25 last minute booking charge will apply to any party booked with less than 5 days to the date of the party.
